DFC Software to be bundled on Electrovaya Tablet PC
Combination to Streamline Process of Collecting Data on the Roof
ACTON, Mass. (July 2003) – Digital Facilities Corporation (DFC),
the industry’s leading provider of roofing asset management software,
and Electrovaya Inc. (TSE: EFL), the developer of the world’s leading
Tablet PC “Scribbler,” announced they have signed an agreement
to bundle DFC software on Electrovaya’s Scribbler Tablet PC as
a package for specific user segments. DFC’s roofing asset management
software includes InfoRoof® (IRP), which features an organized
database system, roof maintenance program, and high-quality report generators.
The Scribbler Tablet PC, powered by Electrovaya’s award-winning
patented Lithium Ion SuperPolymer rechargeable battery technology, offers
a run time of 8 – 16 hours, significantly longer than any other
tablet PC on the market today. Combining the two technologies will make
it easier for roofing contractors, consultants or building owners to
collect critical data while on the roof or out in the field, and will
save them the step of having to re-enter the data when they return to
their offices.

The agreement between Electrovaya and DFC is effective immediately,
and the bundled offer with DFC software will be available in mid –July.
